Metallica have launched a new website at, www.missionmetallica.com, giving fans a tantalising sneak preview of their as-yet-untitled studio album due for release later this year. Fans will be able to sign up for Mission Metallica: Platinum shortly, allowing access to more content. In a preview video, the band reveal one work-in-progress is entitled Hell And Back. “This is just the beginning of the journey to the new album,” says a post on the site. “Check it out and grow with us as we hope this site becomes a daily part of your life. Shortly after you’ve had a chance to surf around, roll a few videos and see what it’s all about, we’re going to step it up another notch, get that platinum thing going we told you about and in general… bring it the fuck on!” Metallica give fans a sneak peek at new material.
